We invite foreigners living in Lithuania to learn the Lithuanian language for free

Learning our language is not easy, but it is one of the most important conditions in order to overcome the linguistic, cultural and social barriers of integration into Lithuanian society and the labor market.

Lingua Lituanica and the Employment service invites foreigners living in Lithuania to learn the Lithuanian language for free.

All citizens of the European Union or the European Free Trade Association and their family members living in Lithuania, as well as citizens of third countries who have a residence permit in Lithuania, can do this.

Which courses are eligible for funding?

It is possible to study in Vilnius and Kaunas for A1, A2, B1 and B2 level courses in groups that take place in class. Both parts of the course (for example B1-1 and B1-2) are financed, so registration starts with the first part of the course.

How to register?

• Register by specifying the course code https://lingualit.lt/en/top_menu/registration/
• We will confirm your registration and give you a course code with which you can apply to the Employment service.
• Register with the Employment Service (either on the website or by visiting the Employment Service) and provide the name of the institute and the code you have received e.g. LINGUA LITUANICA 221001149
