11 October 11.00 Lithuanian Language Society and Klaipėda District Municipality organise a seminar
"On the Path of the State Language: people and their works".
The seminar is dedicated to the linguist, pedagogue, translator, editor-in-chief of "Gimtosios kalbos" (1933-1936),
Jurgis Talmantas (1894-1955), one of the founders of the Lithuanian Language Society.

The seminar will take place at the Endriejavas Cultural Centre (Mokyklos g. 1A, Endriejavas, Klaipėdos r.).
Speakers,

The seminar will feature a presentation of the Vilnius University scientific journal "Lithuanian Language"
supplement "The Centenary of the State Language" (edited by Vilma Zubaitienė and Agnė Kuliešienė).

The final part of the event is
a tour of the Endriejavas and Veiviržėnai area linguists
and other people who have contributed to Lithuanian culture.
