LINGUA LITUANICA yearly meeting

On 15th of January institute organized yearly meeting where all achievements and works were discussed:

Published learning book "Susipažinkime" in Russian.
On 19th of November in Mykolas Romeris University LINGUA LITUANICA director prof. dr. Irena Kruopienė held a seminar "Academic language of the lecturer".
On 28-31 of October an international congress of Baltic linguistics was held. It was attended by prof. dr. Irena Kruopienė and prof. dr. Genovaitė Kačiuškienė.
On 14-18 of September prof. dr. Genovaitė Kačiuškienė participated in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in the Eastern Mediterranean University (Eastern Mediterranean University - EMU) at the VIII International dialectologists and geolingvist Society (SIDG) Congress.
On 13rd of March Conference - "Native language school" (attended by prof. dr. Genovaitė Kačiuškienė).
On 30 of January - International Scientific Conference of Daugavpils University (attended by prof. dr. Irena Kruopienė).
On 28-31 of October was held an international congress of Baltic linguistics. Language and Cultural Institute support it.

Training for the European Parliament translators.
Organized courses of spoken Lithuanian language.
Organized practical Lithuanian language editing courses.
In Mykolas Romeris University teacher qualification course was held by institute's director prof. dr. Irena Kruopienė.

An celebratory event "Waiting for Christmas ..."
LINGUA LITUANICA together with Lithuanian Language Society and the LAMT mold (Republic of Belarus) held cultural event "Aš gyvas kalboje".
Held a birthday celebration, which took place on 6th of March at winery "La Boheme."
Artists from Grodno exhibition opening.
There was a workshop with folk artists.
Weekend with the Lithuanian language - Summer camp. Participants took part in various cultural activities.

Currently, the Institute is exhibiting two new exhibitions of Morta Mieželytė and Laima Mieželienė.
